I love Delhi - A brief
Well as promised and demanded here is the first post on Delhi. Delhi sometimes referred to as Dilli (pyaar se) is the second largest metropolis of India, with a population of 17 million, and a federally-administered union territory officially known as the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). Located on the banks of river Yamuna in northern India, archaeological evidence suggest that Delhi has been continuously inhabited since at least 6th century BC. History : O yes yes many of you (me also) do not like this subject,, but without history... no present, no future... so belive me,, it is intersting Delhi has been built and re-built more than 5 times at different sites in and around Delhi but the correct reference is found in the Mahabharatha as the city of Pandavas, also called Indraprastha some 3000 years ago.
